Community Involvement

SRC strives to be the Willamette Valley’s leading provider of professional radiology and outpatient medical imaging services. We pride ourselves on being an engaged member of the community and on recognizing the value of each and every patient we serve. Salem Radiology believes it is both our responsibility and our privilege to give back to the community through the support of important charitable organizations. We are proud to be active sponsors for the following organizations and events:

• United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley – supports health and human service needs within the local community
• Salem Free Clinics Run for Hope and Health – raises funds to provide health care to medically uninsured individuals in our community
• Salem-Keizer Education Foundation – promotes health and fitness among the community’s youth through the Awesome 3000 fun run (major sponsor)
• YWCA Encore Program – supports financial, educational, and service assistance for women ages 40-64 who are unable to afford annual women’s health exams
• Gayla of Trees – supports the Boys and Girls Aid Society, which improves the lives of children in need
• Medical Foundations of Marion & Polk Counties – provides life saving prescription medications to qualifying residents of Marion and Polk Counties through the MedAssist Program
• Marion Polk Food Share – works to eliminate hunger in our community
• Salem Hospital Foundation – supports medical and medically-related projects of Salem Hospital such as health education materials and financial scholarships
• Salem Hospital Women’s Auxiliary – supports community activities and helps support future healthcare professionals through Auxilary scholarships
• YMCA We Believe Campaign – provides assistance for low income children and families to participate in YMCA programs
• Isaac’s Room – helps at-risk young people build the capacity to rise to the challenges of life
• Hoopla 3 on 3 Event – promotes health and fitness among youths and adults in the community (major sponsor)
• YWCA Program on Eliminating Racism and Empowering Women – empowers women within the community by targeting social issues related to domestic violence, racial inequality, women’s health, job training, education, and childcare assistance
• The Community Health Education Center – Informs and empowers patients, families, community members and hospital staff by providing accurate health information
• Sprague High School Field Turf Track Project – Major sponsorship benefiting the students of Sprague High School
• West Salem High School Turf Project – Sponsorship benefiting the students of West Salem High School
